Welcome to the website for Mrs. Townsend's Project S3. This project incorporates the three main principles of environmental science: Science, Sustainability and Stewardship. Mrs. Townsend is an advanced environmental science and biology teacher at Castle High School in Newburgh, Indiana. Mrs. Townsend holds up a rock vole that she captured while conducting mammalian population density studies in the Canadian forests. Students followed her research and participated in live chats with researchers on a daily basis via the internet.
